Subject: LOVE LOVE LOVE the ring

You made my day/week/month....what an amazing surprise! I love the ring. It is SO me and I have it on right now. I'm tempted to go out and find a new dress for the event, just so I can wear it to match the ring. I truly am honored that you took the time to find that gem for me. Love you to the moon and back.

Longtime Customer, Erika C., writes:

I have been in love with this charming store for years. Nathalie Seaver's designs are feminine, whimsical and very flattering. She has a knack for finding and using the most unique and lovely fabrics. One of her specialties are reversable skirts, and I own several of these in a variety of styles and colors. I love the concept of getting two things for one to begin with, but aside from that, they are unique and have a lovely way of flowing as you walk. I also own several of her cardigans which are cozy and also very flattering.

The store is filled with countless other treasures, many with a Parisian theme, which is perfect for me as I'm a bit obsessed with France lately. It's the perfect place to go if you are looking for a unique gift for a friend (or for yourself, frankly!)

A's Ode to a Reversible Skirt

Dear Reversible Skirt,

After all these years, you still do me right every time.

Job interview. Senior Editor spot. Washington, DC. What to wear? You, of course, created by my brilliant, natty pal Nathalie. You're business-like enough for this absurdly conventional town, feminine enough to make me feel like myself, interesting enough to let me represent myself as the creative person I feel like (most days).

You and I found each other in 1998 in Chappaqua, NY — long before I met your creator. Your elastic has been replaced. Your waist has been taken in. You've been dry-cleaned more times than I can recall. And after 13 years, you remain one of my most true-blue and treasured clothing items.

Thanks for being such a keeper, reversible skirt. Please tell Nathalie I miss her terribly.

Love, A

PS In case Nathalie was wondering what else you went out with today: Black wedgies, black top, vintage Matsuda jacket, pearl earrings.

New Customer Hirono S:

I found this place during my post-lunch walk with friends down West Third Street. I was instantly smitten with the boutique's Paris-inspired decoration and was even more drawn when I found all the pretty airy silk dresses with beautiful floral prints.

I found a lovely Maggie Tunic on sale and it was love at first sight. It was really atypical of me to purchase something on an impulse, especially something that's almost $120 (even with 40% discount) but I couldn't help it - I was madly in love. I'm totally happy with the quality, the design, and how the shirt makes me feel.

In today's world where we are surrounded by cheaply-made mass produced clothes from retail chains, it is refreshing to find such hidden treasure on the street of LA.

Nathalie, the designer and owner of the boutique, was very friendly and helpful. It's not every day that the person with her name on the clothing label actually helps you out.
